New Jersey Health IT Champion Program Webinar Archive from January 18, 2012

This webinar took place on January 18, 2012 as the kickoff and first meeting of the Health IT Champions who are charged with carrying the message to stakeholder groups, including consumers and patients, across New Jersey as well as getting feedback from New Jerseyans.
The primary objective of the HIT Champion Program is to make all New Jerseyans knowledgeable about electronic health records (EHRs), their benefits, and the capability for electronic exchange of health information in a private and secure environment. Working in collaboration with NJ-HITEC, we will capitalize on the team's outreach to physicians to help achieve this goal. In addition, the program will provide you and other HIT Champions with a framework, tools, and materials needed to reach all of New Jersey's diverse stakeholder groups. Through this coordinated "network of networks" approach, ongoing activities will be supported to educate and engage your colleagues and communities.
