New Jersey Hospitals, Physicians and Healthcare Professionals are rolling out EHRs and Health IT as part of a nationwide movement to improve healthcare with the use of computers and health information technology. The goal is to have a real-time patient record, called an Electronic Health Record (EHR), for every person in New Jersey by 2014. The Webinar will feature the first national physician leader of the current Health IT initiative who will be joined by New Jersey physician leaders in describing what EHRs and Health IT are, the value to both physicians and patients, and what patients and physicians can anticipate.
