Thank you for your interest in sponsoring the New Jersey Chapter of HIMSS. Many of you have participated in past Chapter events, and we are pleased to see you continue to participate with us. In order to better meet the needs of our growing membership and the popularity of our events the Chapter has restructured the sponsorship offering to provide even more value.
The board has planned at least three events for the 2012-2013 membership year and has revised the sponsorship matrix to better reflect the range of events being offered. Please remember that HIMSS operates on a July – June year, and any annual sponsorship plan will follow that model. NJ HIMSS will continue to offer event based sponsorship opportunities, in addition to the annual plans.
Annual plans will provide sponsors with the added benefit of presence at all events for one low commitment. If the chapter is able to conduct more than 3 events, annual members will see the value of their commitment multiply without additional outlay. Remember that NJ HIMSS offers the best networking opportunities in the State for your sponsorship investment!
PLANNED EVENT SUMMARY
FALL 2012 (October – Atlantic City – Dates TBD) – Anticipate over 400 attendees
A 1½ day session with breakfast, lunch and dinner, co-hosted with the Delaware Valley HIMSS Chapter. There will be multiple tracks and speakers. Event will be held in a venue in Atlantic City NJ to ensure accessibility to those coming from Southern NJ and Eastern PA. This event may also offer golf & tennis for which sponsorships will be offered separately.
WINTER 2013 (February - HIMSS, New Orleans, LA – date TBD) – Anticipate over 150 attendees
This will be a luncheon meeting typically held on the Tuesday of the HIMSS National Conference with one or more keynote speakers.
SUMMER 2012 (May 15) – Anticipate 150 - 200 attendees
This will be a full day conference with breakfast and lunch, held at a central location in New Jersey. There will be a primary theme and 4-6 speakers.
